Welcome!

2018 is the 30th Anniversary of the Hills of Erin Studio Tour and the artists are very proud and eager to welcome our past, present and new studio tour visitors into our community to experience the world of original art, and to showcase our region’s artistic diversity and share how and why we create.

Looking back, the tour was born out of six artists living in the hills and hamlets of the Erin-Hillsburgh area. This group came together to develop a self-guided tour to showcase artists and art inside this community. We thank them for building that foundation and we wish to thank the over 600+ artists who have participated in the tour over the past 30 years.

You have all made it become a tremendous, successful tour and a jewel event in the Town of Erin and in the Headwaters region. Exposure to these kinds of connections helps artists not only sell their art during the tour, but also opens doors for them afterwards. The core intention of our award winning studio tour remains the same– we are a cooperative effort of local artists coming together to showcase and promote art in the community.

The 2018 tour is about collaboration and this year we present 13 dedicated, creative, established, local artists at one location only, for one weekend only. Long-time supporter and sponsor, the Teak Barn, will be the host location for these amazingly talented artists from the area.

The tour takes place on the weekend of November 3 & 4, 2018 and offers a staggering variety of artistic media: acrylic, encaustic, water colour and oil painting, wood turning, bronze sculpture, porcelain, ceramic, pottery, mixed media, fibre and silk. All will be available for viewing and purchase.

To the artists, our town, our community, our tourism and arts partners, art patrons, visitors, friends and family and our local businesses and sponsors, we thank YOU for an amazing 30 years!

ENJOY!
